有償受講者の皆様、五輪書通訳課題（是迄の課題の私訳です：⇒
１）【私は兵法（my fencing style）の流儀を二天一流(Niten Ichiryu)としています。
多年に亙り稽古をしてきましたが、 この度、初めて、この流儀について書物に書きます。」
I've named my own sword-fighting style 'Niten Ichiryu'.
After practicing my style of sword-fighting for years,
I've decided to write about this.
2)【私は兵庫県生まれの武士、新免武蔵です。今年で60になります。
1643年(*寛永20年）10月10日に、私は熊本県郊外岩戸山に登り、
天を拝し（bow in veneration)、観音(Kwannon)を礼し（worship）、
仏前に向かって、（この書を書こうとしています）。】
I'm SHINMEN, Musashi、60 years old this year, born in Hyogo.
Today, October 10th in 1643, I went up Mt. Iwato near Kumamoto.
After bowing to Heaven in veneration and paying my worship to Kwannon,
I am sitting in front of an image of Buddha and writing this book.
3)【私は幼少から剣道（Kendo）に勤しみ、
13歳の時に初めて真剣勝負（life-or-death duel）をしました。
I've devoted myself to the way of sword-fighting since my early childhood.
At the age of 13, I had my first life-or-death dual against Arima of Shinto School and beat him.
4) 【その相手、新当流（Shinto School）の有馬氏を打ち破りました。
16歳の時には、但馬地区の秋山氏という怪力の剣術家と試合をし、これを破りました。】
At the age of 16, I had another duel against a strong fencer named Akiyama from Tajima and beat him, too.
5) 【21歳の時に京(Kyoto)に上り、天下に名高い剣道家（swords fighters）と
数回勝負 （duel）をしましたが、いずれも敗北する事はありませんでした。】
At the age of 21, I went to Kyoto where I had a couple of duels against nationally famous swords fighters.
Then, I never lost in these duels.
6) 【その後日本の至る所で、色々な流派の兵術者（swordsmen）と計60回以上は試合をし、
一度も敗北を喫しませんでした】
After my second duel, I went to many places in Japan, having at least 60 duels with swordfighters of different schools.
Then, I never lost in any and every one of the duels.
★課題7) 【以上は年齢で13より２８、29歳までの事でした。
然し、30才以後、それ迄を振り返りますと、兵法(the way of sword-fighting) を
極めた上での勝利ではなかったのです】
